Folko,
The prize for Einfach Genial is around EUR 20,- (80,- zl) in the shops here in Germany. And this game does not look only interesting, it is also very interesting and fun to play
Each tile consists of 2 hexagonal fields with different colors.
8 of these You will have on Your bank all the time during the game by drawing new tiles after laying them down. You lay these tiles on the board, mostly to corresponing colors. The more tiles with matching colors will lay in the surrounding of the tile, the more points someone will get.
And You should gain points for every colors. This is shown on the score card by colored cubes.
But be aware, the winner of the game will be the player, whose cube on the score card with the least points will be better than the worst counting cube of the opponent players.
On the picture of
http://www.spielarchiv.de/spiel/e/einfa ... genial.htm You can see the tiles, the board, the bank, and the score card.
Also You can see the white ring (3 player game) and the grey ring (4 player game). So the board increases with amount of players.
This game is quite strategic
It had been played once by the Club of Mensa, and people there liked it alot. In case You do not know about this Club. Members of this club are people with very high IQ.
Uiek,
Tri-Ominos is an older game (I think in the 80ies) and right now it is very rarely seen in the shops. In addition there had been different versions of this, luxury, and regular.
The luxury version came in a Triangle box even.
On
http://www.spielarchiv.de/spiel/t/triomino/triomino.htm You can see the actual version which might be available in shops today. I think this version costs around EUR 16,- (64,- zl). It is distributed by Peri now (Austrian editor).
Tri-Omino is like Domino, only that there are 3 sides that must match from time to time, because of the triangle shaped tiles. On tiles are numbers, different combinations starting with 0-0-0, 0-0-1, ..., 1-4-5, ... up to 5-5-5.
And for each tile put You will receive points. If You cannot put a tile You must draw one from the staple, which will give You minus.
By ending a hexagonal figure, or a "Bridge", You will get extra points.
And the first player that reaches a total of 400 points will win the game.
But it is also possible to loose 150 points in one game. A game consists of several rounds, and several games are played to reach the 400 points.
I think that's about it. Any more?
Best Regards
Pete
By the way, for all fans of Zug um Zug, this month will be the Europa-Edition in Germany available. It shows the map of Europe with extended and additional rules. Also now possible to play with 6 players. Prize I do not know yet.
