Hi!
You own or have played Troyes, so I'm writing to see whether you might be able to help me.
Recently I saw a note from Pearl Games editor Sébastien Dujardin stating that Troyes 2, a reimplementation of Troyes specifically for two players, would not be published. I had created a game listing for this title in the BGG database in mid-2018, so I asked Dujardin whether this listing should be removed.
Then I looked at the page and saw a correction from November 2018 in which Dujardin had asked for the page to be taken down, so I did just that, moving the few images on that page to the owner's personal gallery, then merging that title out of existence into the "Unpublished Prototype" listing, which is the standard method of doing such things.
Then Dujardin mentioned that he had released a print-and-play version for a contest in France. Whoops.
Copies of Troyes 2 are in public hands, so we should have a listing in the database. If anyone has such a copy or knows the rules of it, I invite you to submit a new listing to the database, along with a note to the admins that Eric Martin has requested this submission to replace one accidentally merged away.
If you are seeing this note a few days after Dec. 12, 2018 when I sent it, you might want to search the database or the pending submission queue (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/items/boardgame/pending?) to see whether another user has beat you to the punch.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Eric Martin
