Short Game (Recommended for Competitive Game only)
Base on Experience, there are players that don’t like long games so here are the adjustments that can be done to make the game shorter but not less fun.
-During Set-up, After placing the time token on the Time track’s spot based on the number of players, move the time token one more slot. Follow the rest of set-up as normal
-During the first Spring (Year 2), regardless of the number above the time token place only one (3 players) or two Horde cards (4 or 5 players). On succeeding Spring, place a number of Horde cards as required by the number above the time token.
-During the Spring, whenever there is a RAID, remove from the game a number of Shame Tokens equal to the number of players +1.
-During the Summer, when discarding Shame Tokens they are instead remove from the game.
-During the Fall, Wall levels requires less resources to build (one less for Level-1 and Level-2 Wall and two less on Level-3 Wall). Points gain remains the same as the printed number of resources required for the Wall level. When hiring succeeding advisors after the 4th the cost should be fixed 5 Gold.
- In a 4 player game, during the first Fall/Winter, whenever players are to Kill soldiers on a taken/defeated horde card, they kill soldiers based from the Lethality (number below the Time track spots) from the previous Time track spot instead of the current position of the Time token. On succeeding Fall/Winter the Lethality will be based by the number below the Time token.
