Spadkobiercy
Opis
Podczas przyjęcia z okazji 56. urodzin znanego milionera doszło do przykrego wypadku – korek jednego z szampanów wylądował w tchawicy jubilata i pozbawił go życia. Jedna rzecz pozostaje jednak zagadką: choć każdy z was twierdzi, że odgrywał w życiu zmarłego ważną rolę, nikt z was nie widział pozostałych nigdy wcześniej…

Re: Spadkobiercy
Hmm wrażenia na BGG średnie
Played my first games of Hoax (2nd ed.) today. We had six players, and I think that most everyone enjoyed the experience. There were a couple of things that didn't quite make sense to us, however.
First, we felt a bit of a thematic disconnect. If you claim to be a character and the group disbelieves you, you can reveal that you truly are that character and automatically win. Yet, if someone else accuses you of being a given character and you truly are that character, you lose. In both situations you want the other players to misidentify you, yet in one you're saying "Ha! I really am the Chef!" while in the other, you're saying "Curses! I really am the Chef!" As a game it works, but in terms of the game's premise--a group of impostors trying to inherit an estate--it didn't quite scan.
Also, we didn't understand why player elimination was handled differently for accuser and accusee. If you correctly accuse another player, they are eliminated. You get their resources, and the markers indicating which characters they falsely claimed to be are left intact. Yet, if you're wrong and are yourself eliminated, not only doesn't the accusee get your stuff, but any markers on your own player board are discarded. What's the rationale for that? Why is the group losing information* in one case, but not the other?
